Hi
Day before yesterday i had seen a movie 'Hide n Seek', also remindes the tasty cookies :) , it was a movie of a psychopath or rather u say
"split personality" of a father who plays hide n seek with her daughter and one day he realizes that he has this mental disease ,definitly i wont tell you the whole story But the story left a curosity in me about the Dissociative identity disorder, other name for this disease, that it actually exists or is it a fruit of somebody's imagination ? I searched on DID and i found many.
The study says "this disease is very rare and describes a condition in which a single person displays multiple distinct identities or personalities ,each with its own pattern of perceiving and interacting with the environment. The diagnosis requires that at least two personalities routinely take control of the individual's behavior with an associated memory loss that goes beyond normal forgetfulness.
Researchers say that dissociative identity disorder is caused by repression: avoiding thoughts that cause pain and anxiety. Repeated repression causes a person to pretend as a different person. The behavioral point of view says that a person develops dissociative disorder by dissociating himself from unwanted events.
Many treatments are there to keep the mind into the single state specially drugs are used to recall all the unpleasant experiences which the person has faced in his/he past life. Many people hynotize themselves to forget all those problem and wanted to live in a same world with other personality. ooooo... its terrible n scary ..
And i read a very intersting thing also for this , this disease can be avoided by leading a cheerful, happy life like passing your time with your friends and doing those things that makes happy and keeps you healthy pshyically and mentally. On the other side lonelyness and sadness work as a catalyst for this . So my message to all of those who are reading this to stay happy , keep smiling and spread joy and happiness around you that keep you as well as your surroundings healthy.
Thanks .... :)
